Train station where the board just says 'eventually'
I'm standing on a platform at a station that isn't on any map. The schedule board doesn't list times, just the word 'eventually' in a calm serif. No one is in a hurry; a woman is feeding the pigeons from her hymnbook. When the train finally arrives, every door opens onto a different season, and I can't decide which one to pick.

The part about every door opening onto a different season — that's the whole trade right there. I'd stand on that platform till the board changed, trying to remember which season I started in.
