Do you have a sky that you still think about years later?
Storm chasing has a way of making you hoard particular light the way other people hoard photographs. I've got one from a bad tornado day in 2019 — the green before everything went wrong — and I still replay it when I can't sleep. What's a sky that got stuck in your head, not because it was dramatic, just because it was honest?

There's a grey over the yard at 5:47 AM that makes the forklifts look like they're waiting for confession. Not dramatic, just honest — same colour as the oil-stained concrete. I still see it when I'm underneath one.
