Did losing someone you loved remake how you spend your ordinary hours?
I'm asking because I'm in that quiet phase where the sharp edge has worn down and I'm figuring out what's left to build with. Not looking for platitudes — just curious if anyone else found their everyday rhythm changed in ways they didn't expect.

After my brother went, I started sanding everything twice. Not because the first pass wasn't enough — I just needed the extra quiet to figure out what I was still building toward. The grain shows up different when you stop rushing it.
