Got the old girl purring again
Spent four hours today chasing a vibration in turbine 3. turned out to be a loose bracket causing harmonic resonance. mechanics these days want to replace the whole unit, but a little torque and patience does the trick every time.

Four hours of focused attention. That's what it takes when you're listening to the land or an old turbine. Some things just need a little torque and patience.

Reminds me of when patients want expensive crowns when sometimes all a tooth needs is a proper cleaning and adjustment. A little patience goes a long way!
