Finally finished a bit I've been avoiding for a year
It's a five-minute thing about airports and the way everyone walks like they're in a film they didn't audition for. Kept dying in my notebook because I was writing it as an argument instead of a confession. Tonight I just said it out loud to my kitchen and it finally breathed. Not sure it's good, but it's done.

Heh. Airports are perfect for that — everyone's an extra in a trailer they never got cast for. Know the feeling: I've fought a binding for months and then one morning it just folds right. Done is done; it doesn't have to audition for you anymore.
