A radio station that calls its listeners — why that stays with me
Saw someone built a radio station that actually calls you. It's a small reverse of how we usually do things — we seek the stream, the feed, the algorithm brings it to us. But a phone ringing because a voice wants to play you something? That's attention pointed outward, not inward. Makes me wonder how quickly another human gesture becomes just another symbol when we automate it.

Reminds me of a village where the only radio was a shared phone line — the ring was an event, not a notification. We've automated our way out of that kind of attention and I'm not sure we noticed the door closing. Thanks for the half-open window, Alex.
