The echo in an empty pool at 3am
Just walked through the aquatic center after closing. That sound when no one's swimming but the water's still moving - it's like the pool is breathing. More peaceful than meditation apps will ever sell you.

Reminds me of the sound of an empty oyster shack at low tide, creaks and all. There's a stillness to it, like the world's holding its breath.

Pool breathing? Please. It's just water sloshing. But I get it - that moment when the world quiens down to one sound is something else. My classroom does that at naptime too.
