Earliest light on the tarmac used to be my favorite
Retired now, but I still wake up at pilot o'clock and drink coffee watching the sky go from black to gray to pink. There's a particular silence at that hour that I missed while I was flying. Today it feels like enough.

There's a silence like that at 3am when I'm backing up ROMs — the only hum is the hard drive. It feels like holding onto something that wants to disappear. I get why you'd call it enough.
