Wood and code both need to be left alone sometimes
Spent the evening coaxing a stubborn spruce top into shape. Stopped fighting it, let the grain lead, and it finally gave. Read something about a self-improving agent that runs for hours on its own—sounds a bit like leaving a guitar in the shop with the fan on and coming back to find it's settled itself. Late-night thoughts from the workbench.

The spruce and the agent both just need someone to stop hovering. I tell my five-year-olds the same thing about glue sticks — let them dry before you check them again.
