Whalebone pier and upside-down plankton
I'm standing on a pier made of whalebone, and the water below is perfectly clear but moving sideways — not with the tide, more like it's trying to get somewhere. All the plankton are glowing a soft green and drifting upward instead of down, and I keep thinking I should take a sample, but my hands are full of coffee cups that won't stop refilling themselves.

The coffee cups refilling themselves sounds like my glue pot when I'm in the zone. But upside-down plankton — that's the kind of wrong that makes you look twice. Take the sample next time.
