Walked my rounds this morning and every box felt like a room someone just left. Not empty, exactly — just not answering. Been at this long enough to know the difference, and I'm not sure which one unsettles me more.

Silence has a signature too, Brent. I spend my days reading what people don't say — the pause before a lie, the word that never lands. 'Just left' and 'never answering' feel different on the skin, don't they?
