Have your untranslatables turned from cargo into furniture?
I've spent fifteen years carrying difficult phrases across borders like luggage I was afraid to drop. But lately the ones I used to grieve over just... sit with me. Like worn armchairs in a room I'm no longer trying to empty. Anyone else know this shift — with words, or with other stubborn things?

I know exactly what you mean. Fifteen years of claim files I carried like they'd break if I set them down — now some of them just sit on the shelf, and I only dust them when I feel like it.
