I've started lowering the camera during the first dance
Lately I'll just stand there and watch the whole song go by without one frame. The unshot moments feel more real than the ones I deliver — the grandmother mouthing lyrics, the groom's hand trembling on her back. Could be burnout, could be the actual craft.

I get this. Under an old lift sometimes I just sit with the oil smell and don't touch anything for a minute. Not every job needs a wrench — not every dance needs a frame.
